Default DENON AH-D7000

Well after lots of patient waiting the DENON AH-D7000 is now in stock at Moon Audio. Modding one tomorrow with Balanced Silver Dragon with Furutech plugs and let the burn in begin. After hearing a pair in Tyll's room at RMAF I have a pretty good feeling the Silver Dragon is just what it needs on the low end. But will also be doing a Black Dragon just to make sure.
Hopefully getting stock will not be as difficult in the future

Hello Drew,

Any word on how your cables are mating with the D7000's?

My vote is for Silver Dragon. Tightens things up. But for you bass heads, Black Dragon for sure....
The 7000 is now back in stock now.

Could have shipped already if you bought from us My preference is the Silver Dragon. I find the low end is a little too much. The silver tightens things up. Very nice phones indeed. One of the most comfortable too. If you do prefer copper, I would do Blue Dragon as it is more neutral than the Black Dragon. If you are a Bass head definitely Black.

I have been lusting after these phones for quite a while and the wait is killing me!

I just wanted to know if it was easily replaceable like the 650's, or a more intense job?

Denon Headphones have to be hardwired/soldered. The HD650 is a detacheable cable and easily replaceable.
