Good Question. Have not thought about it yet. I am still working out the disconect option for the cable. And dont have the exact part picked yet. Have been dealing with very slow responsive parts people. Trying to spend money and cant get it going fast enough. Nature of the game these days it seems....I hope to know final priing by CanJam.

What we try to do on the website is point those folks that just can’t make a decision on what to get. But know they want to get an higher quality version of that particular phone.
Really the choice is driven by what you are looking for. Do you have a tube system or solid state? Do you listen to Jazz or Trance? Do you like a warmer sound or a more forward sound? Etc Etc Etc. There is no reason why you can’t choose another cable. What we try to do, when you are ready to order, is ask a bunch of questions to help determine a direction for your particular situation.

Will you guys recable a DT770 consumer 2005 with detachable cables (similar to the K271's, but doesn't have to be mini plugs) if I sent it to you?

oh, it sounds interesting as you use coaxial like plugs, may i know is the cable for Beyer uses are the same? ie the cable can be used on both DT770, 880, and 990?? so we may interchange the cable and phones as we like?

Yes we can do the detachable cable for all 3 phones. So you can use 1 cable for all 3 or get different versions of cables. Such as 1 balanced cable or one single ended or a short cable with mini for portable use. More flexibility available.
