Now Available Exclusively through Moon Audio!!!!
The Beyerdynamic Manufaktur Custom line of DT990 DT880 & DT770.
Moon Audio has struck up a special service through Beyerdynamic. You can now order the Manufaktur Custom Line of DT990 DT880 & DT770 headphones and have them shipped straight to us for re-cabling.
We will also be releasing soon a special Moon Audio version of each of the DT990 DT880 & DT770 headphones that will only be available from us. It will have a split detachable cable. All Carbon Body. Moon Audio Badges and other improvements to the phones. Details to be released at CanFest 2009 in LA.

They are genuine carbon fiber? I know Beyer had some "fake burl" available, I guess the price will be announced when you post those pictures as well? Can't wait!

The Carbon Fiber is not real. That would send the price tag over the roof. But honestly you cant tell the difference.

I am also interested in the all carbon body, especially with split detachable cable. May i know what will the plug used on connecting the cable and phone? miniXLS like AKGs or the one like Senns?

Phones just arrived. I will try to take a picture soon. They wont have the cables on them yet as I am still working out which connector I will be using. Most likely the Senn HD800 connector so that it is more universal. But wont know the exact HD800 connector until the bloody things finally start shipping.
