Will total bithead drive HD600?

I own a total bithead and a HD-280 pro, and I am considering upgrading to HD 600s or HD 595s. After reading some reviews I tend to get HD600s. But some posts suggest HD600 needs adequate amps to drive. Is Total Bithead adequate for HD600?

I used the TBH with my 580's for awhile. It only clipped on a few recordings, naturally you won't get the full potential out og your 600's. IMO, it'll work unyil you can upgrade.

Thanks for your inquiry.

The Total BitHead will do justice to the 300-ohm HD600 on the unit's high-gain setting. However, there's no question the HR Micros will provide MUCH more accurate and musical amplification for those rather power-hungry headphones.

The Sennheiser HD595 headphone only rates at 50 ohms impedance and is fairly sensitive too so the HR 'Mobile Line' amps should perform very well with that particular model.
