I was wondering how the HD 800s were selling after all the pre-orders, were sent out? ie. 1 pair per day? More / less?
What does headroom charge to convert the HD 800 to balanced termination? I am almost over my self and getting ready to order a set. Thanks guys!

He's saying that he certainly hopes that #888 would be his, too.

You’ll be waiting a while for after market cables as the connectors are not yet available.

He's talking about re-terminating the 1/4 plug to balanced. n_maher did mine with a 4-pin XLR at CanJam.

Off topic: Did anyone get to compare the HD800 to the desktop speakers at CanJam?

Sure. The speakers image better ... cuz they're in real space.
But the 800s cream the speakers for neutrality, and articulation and detail.

Headphoneaddict is right! Thanks.
Drew from Moon Audio said:...From an e mail today. "I am working on the HD800 cables. Should have custom connectors next month."

Mine were balanced locally by a Head-fier and I see no need to do anything but re-terminate the existing cables as I am told they are very well built.
