Well, it's not the Westone 3 debacle yet - I remember demo'ing those the 1st week Oct 2007 (5 months after they were supposed to have been released) and being toid we'd have them "by the end of the year".
They really meant "by the end of the year 2008", so I did have a happy Thanksgiving 2008.

How did you know? As it happens, all three of these did happen and are the reasons for the continued delays.

Do you have any idea how many units Headroom will be receiving in the "mid-late June" shipment?

No, sorry, dunno. We're all---you, me, Sennheiser USA, and probably even the Germans --- just going to have to deal with the hand we're dealt, and not do the "shoulda, woulda, coulda" over and over in our head.

Nice!
"dick move"
When a normal person makes a maneuver that would ordinarily be performed by a jerk or dick. Generally not a serious move.
Jonas just threw sand in my face. What a dick move!

If there are no updates why keep this open? I thought It was a good question. Just one last post from Headroom stating, there are no new updates and we will keep you updated as soon as we get the info, Sorry guys.
OK back to work.

It wasn't meant as a dig at you. Just saying that Tyll's a big boy and not the type to start locking threads when there's some minor turbulence.
Looking forward to hearing some HD800s at CanJam after all this damn drama.

Yeah, it's like a pressure relief valve: When you're trying to keep a lid on things, it's good to have an open outlet or it just might blow.

funny, I was finally at the point of ordering the PS1000, and it seems no one has those in stock yet either, right?
I am still totally keeping the HD800 on order, just anxious to hear at least one of these 2 new phones. Not so much impatiance, as a real concern to hear them before my $5000 Blue Hawaii order comes due. I am way over my head in audio debt now, and holding on to a hope that these phones may indeed be good enough to sell all my other phones and unburden myself of the Stax Omega system (which is currently essential).
