You need to carry the foam pieces that reside under the pads of the K701! I lost the pad and the foam and, while I saw Headroom had pads, I called up and you folks don't have those pesky foam pieces!

I'd like to see post-purchase recabling options (I've been actively looking to recable my K701s), if possible many different brands and a clearly laid out list of costs for cables and labor to do the recabling.
If you guys had a recabling section it would also be nice to see the same (extremely) helpful reviews and freq response curves for the cabling options that you include with your headphones. There's just too much BS marketing and too little science with most of the cable dealers out there (BJC and ALO being some notable exceptions)
Otherwise I'd say "you need to..." keep doing what you're doing You have the most helpful site I've found by far.
EDIT: Ooh, almost forgot. A USPS shipping option would be nice too. FedEx is 1hr+ from where I live so I either have to drive to Egypt (figuratively) or let FedEx leave my $300 package in front of my door all day.

I haven't read all the posts in this thread but I want to put my 2 cents in. Your products and the presentation and extra info ie: headphone write ups are great. I do have one dislike with your products, the casing for the desktop and home models is hideous. Amps that look like kidney beans? Woo and Ray and Justin make products that make you want to BUY! I know its shallow and I know you guys make great equipment but if you want to sell through a website then appearance is important even if people tell you to your face its not, some of them are lying. There are threads full of people building cables just so they look nice. Here are my 200 dollar interconnects connected to my kidney bean, you get my drift. I have purchased things from headroom and this is only constructive criticism, nothing more. Good luck and I promise I will spend some more money with you guys in the future.

I was surprised when the home amp and micro stack arrived how much better it looked in person than it did on the web site. It's all a matter of personal taste, but I found the "organic stealth" look works very well in the flesh. A subtle package that blends well into various environments, almost macintosh like in its clean uncluttered lines.

I really dig on the looks of the Micro and Desktop line and their stackable feature. the rounded edges and clean looks work very well for me. I think
they are among some of the best looking amps made! now they really want to make me buy. q:O)
as far as the three amp manufacturers mentioned by the poster above. I can take or leave Woo Audio Amps. I'm just not that big on the looks of tube amps. cool they are but only some really catch me attention. now Ray makes some very good looking amps and one of the few I actually drool over other than HeadRoom's amps! forget the fruity colors though. the look of Justin's amps have never done that much for me. nice at best! the Pico is looking good and glad to see he put that volume pot on the right side.
The price on the Jays filters needs to be looked at IMO. A pack of 4 filters on the Jays website is $5.00 while HeadRoom has them for $10.00.
I bring this up because I'm thinking of getting more. I bought a pair of Q-Jays B stock from HeadRoom and had to change the filters on the first day (right channel had no sound after a few uses). That might be due to the design of the Q-Jays which tend to get wax clogging the filters easily though. I'm pretty sure HeadRoom replaces them before shipping it out.
Overall happy with my experience though. Thanks guys!
3. HeadRoom enclosures that are laid out, drilled and finished for popular DIY amps, like the B22, CK2III, M^3, Dynalo, and so on. Matching knobs and switches, etc., as well.
I think these would sell.

Thanks for your input, Fyleow ... I will have a look at the Jays filter pricing and see what, if anything, we can do. We do recommend ordering extra filter packs with Q-Jays ECHs. They sound superb but indeed require much more on-board filter change-over/maintenance than other earphone brands. Ordering from the Jays website is via Sweden [i think...] so keep in mind the shipping charges might add up there.

hello Uncle Erik,
1. A standalone crossfeed box. = Aah, the old HeadRoom Static [and heir Little More Static] was our only 'stand-alone' crossfeed device; it was discontinued many moons ago -- not much interest sadly
2. 2. High quality source selector = The 'HeadRoom Switcher' proto-project was abandoned a while back. We ran into lots of sundry difficulty here.
3. HeadRoom enclosures that are laid out, drilled and finished for popular DIY amps, like the B22, CK2III, M^3, Dynalo, and so on. Matching knobs and switches, etc., as well = Probably not going to happen anytime soon. HeadRoom is not actively pursuing the DIY market at this time.
