GS-1 v v Ultra MicroAmp

I'm thinking about upgrading from my gilmore lite and was initially only considering a GS-1 until I found out about the nre ultra micro line. I currently use a 2006 micro dac and dig the sound coming out of my micro+gilmore. What I was wondering was if anyone has heard the ultra micro amp and gilmore amps and could tell me how they compare to each other in terms of tonality/coloration. Thanks for any and all help!

You'll probably get better information by posting this in the 'Amp Forum.' The guys here are prolly too polite to make an honest comparison in the HeadRoom area; and I'm not going to comment on competitors products.

But if anyone wants to answer this honestly, go right ahead. Won;t hurt my feelings a bit if you like Justin's amps better. He's a super nice guy, and does very high quality builds.
