Can I upgrade Home DAC module to Max?

How does the Sennheiser balanced cable work out with this package?
Upgrade to Blue Dragon or Cardas make different?

Or Maybe I should purchase Amps, headphone and cable separately.

I'd suggest that giving HR sales a call would probably be the quickest route to an answer for you and probably yield the best deal in terms of package price.

The HeadRoom Balanced Desktop unit can only be outfitted with Home DAC / Home module. The much larger Max module/Max DAC boards simply will not fit the small Bal.Desktop chassis due to heat & size constraints.

We only carry the Cardas Audio balanced-XLR headphone cabling here at HeadRoom but certainly each type/brand of aftermarket headphone cord will offer its own particular tonality and timbre -- which headphone cable replacement is ultimately the "best" may be completely up to the ear of the beholder!

Typically the HeadRoom "package combos" systems have already been sizeably discounted & therefore are not eligible for further price breaks -- but give us a ring and we'll be happy to see what we can do for ya!
