Default BaseStation One vs DPS

I'm picking up a '06 Desktop with max amp/dac and am wondering if a BaseStation One PSU that I have can be used with it and how it will compare to the Astrodyne and DPS.

It's a different design, but a good one. Not quite as good as a DPS, but close. I'd guess it's better than the Astrodyne.

The BS1 is indeed a different design to the DPS, but is nonetheless a good linear regulated PSU and as such is definitely a class above the Astrodyne.

I did find the DPS to be the tiniest improvement over it, so if you need the very best, that's still it, but otherwise the BS1 is just fine.

Thanks guys, that really helps. Then I'll use the Astrodyne with my Supreme at work and the BS1/Desktop at home. And BTW, that Supreme/BS1 I've got has been plugging away since '96 almost daily and really speaks to the build quality. Thanks for making the listening so enjoyable!
