Balanced Max Loaded Just Recieved. WOW
I only have it hooked up to analoq but I am truly amazed. I will lock myself in all weekend long to do a totally immersed listen; but I am totally impressed. Tyll and Company at Headroom- " I am not worthy, I am not worthy." What a company Headroom is! Great Customer Service, Great Products, Great Delivery/Shipping and Made in the USA. Thanks everyone at Headroom.

I think you'll be pretty happy when you get the MAX DAC inserted in the chain.

I think I have the DAC and The Fancy Alps attenuator already included. It sounds just incredible. I am wondering what brand name or model of a Digital Cd Player will work best with my new purchase? Any advice. Scottsmrnyc

I really don't think it's going to make a huge difference what you use, but from what I understand with high end components and a top quality cable, the coaxial connection is the better of the two, so look for something with a quality coax out.
I used to have a Balanced Home with Max Modules and DAC in it and that was one of the most incredible things I've had the pleasure of owning. With the improvements in your full on Max, you are in for years of bliss.

Thanks for the new information. Sorry to say that I have a lot of problems with my Digital Camera or with Downloading pics onto this site. It seems to be difficult as well when I try to download pics to my other Audiokarma membership as well; so I won't be showing any pics; besides, you already must know what it looks like. If not go to the Headroom website to see it. Scottsmrnyc

Congratulations on a terrific purchase! I have had HR amps in the past and they are wonderful sounding.
Oh, and BTW. Consider getting a pair of balanced Sony MDR-SA5000's or the balanced Markl MD5000's. Both are truely amazing phones when recabled and balanced.
Again, congats and enjoy!!!

Congrats! I agree with 4N6 about the SA5000s and the modded Denons.

Here's a photo of my Max Balanced Headphone Amp and SlimDevices Transporter...
Since I took this photo I found a stand: a Lovan Sovereign 4" Amp Stand. It's quite low, but my Transporter can just fit in underneath it, with the Headroom amp on top. It was quite tricky to find, but I like it.

Wow, did not realize the Max Balanced Headphone Amp was that big.
The Transporter and the Max Balanced Headphone look great together by the way.

Congrats on the new amp! That is probably my favourite solid state amp and one of the only ones that I would be happy with long term. The built in DAC is fantastic as well.
[you need to get yourself a pair of balanced K340's as they sound great out of the max balanced]
