Will it be silver core copper wire?

Copper core silver wire then?

I hope there will be a true low-profile LOD option (cable exits short LOD at 90 degrees), still looking for one of those in the commercial market

Very close but not 100% . I will release info end of this month and sales starting beginning December.

Well I tried a couple but they are very hard to build.
The hand work involved is too much the price would be too high.

But I keep it on the list, you never know. Maybe one day I find a solution.

I would guess it would be copper in signal and silver in return.

Default New cable revealed.

Well, finally I can reveal the new design and show some pics.

The cable design has been based on the Silvercab-pro line, Mundorf silver/gold alloy signal leads.
However the central return/ground has been chosen for OCC copper.

We have chosen OCC, a single crystalline copper (created by a special annealing process) with a higher performance then the more known OFC or HOFC.

This adding of a copper return wire really enhances the performance of the cable. The low/mids are more pronounced and better defined then by a full silver/gold wired cable. It make the whole sound spectrum more balanced and has a better dynamics. Specially for Jazz, Rock and Popular music.

As I had always been a more silver oriented person I did not expect that adding copper in the design would make such a difference. But when I started proto typing with OFC I knew it was a winner. And then I ran across a company manufacturing OCC copper. Once I used their copper, that really blew me in the face.

A detailed description can be found here at the Qables website

The design of the cable comes standard with Reflex black sleeving.

Enjoy your music!

Hans.

Hans, very good design concept. With my experience of all your cab cables, I believe it should sound very great. Can you reveal when it will be released 'cause I really want to have it. I even can place order immediately.

Hi, thanks for all the great comments!

I will look into the Viablue upgrade, sounds like a nice one, Thanks!

As for the price:
EU sales 105,50euro inc VAT
International 88,65euro ex VAT
Against the current rate that is about 130US$

We got all the parts in house now and will start producing next week.
I have planned sales start at Dec 1st.

But now I think of it why not a sales pre order discount?

OK ..... the first head fi X-mas special!

Any pre orders during November will have 10% discount and free shipping.
For EU that will be 95 euro
For US that will be 117US$

Let me know if there is any interest.

Rgds Hans.
