Hmmm, sounds like Ill eaither be buying a 6g 160 gig and using it with my current lineout amp setup, or sending my 5.5g 80 gig to vinnie, and springing for the new IC as well.......or maybe both

I've been playing with it all day. I'm having trouble hearing much difference between the new Nano and my 1g shuffle. This is like the perfect little workhorse player- tiny and does everything. Now if they just could have bumped it to 16gb.....

Then it's probable that when it comes to the DAC, the 6g is for all intents and purposes identical to the 5.5g. That's what I suspected too. I can't imagine them improving the headphone out and then cheaping out on the DAC. That makes no sense. Well, that tells me what to use my $100 iPhone credit on.

iMod docks can be used with regular iPods as well; Ken said so himself.

LOL!!!

I still am confused. Is the 6G as good as an iMOD with NO V-DOCK? and just a standard iMOD cable. If so it would see like a great portable indeed.

Of course I will keep the V-Dock/5.5G iMod for home for now! but I want answers.

Vin says he likes it not as much as with the V-dock but we need more data!

Are u Sure? Oh yeah Cant use an iMOD in a normal dock but you can use a normal ipod with a modded dock! ( I still dont get it but ok!)

Vinnie clearly stated that he feels 5/5.5 imod w/ imod cable is better in SQ than the stock classic.
