Default Charging a lithium battery amp (T2)

Not that I've noticed anything after using my iBasso for say 2 months, but it's obvious that after some time the battery life will start noticeably decreasing. Does charging while playing delay this process in any way? And if yes, doesn't it degrade the sound?

P.S. The adapter that I got with my iMod and iBasso was meant for iBasso, right? I'm almost sure that it came in the box with T2, but the inscription on the amp says "DC 5V," while on the adapter it is 6v +- 5%. Should I be botherred by this?
