Wow, The New ALO SLA Power battery running a Sony D25S CD player is much bigger than I expected!
Is there going to be more than one size/model?

Hey HA,
That is the 5AH 12V version it will power your D25s for a good day or so. I do not plan to make them smaller in fact I was thinking of a larger capacity one. You can get a longer power cable for the D25s and tuck it away. The thinking was having the battery last a long time. If you want small I am having a MFG make me replacement batteries that will fit the D25s compartment, coming soon.

Dear hate iPod guy
I can make that for the Zen. I just need to dig through my notes and find the pinout info. The same price and the iPod LOD apples to the Zen version.
Good seeing you at the meet.

Hey Ken,
I just posted about the show here: http://www.head-fi.org/forums/4188399-post2.html
Quote:
I have to echo what HiFlight mentioned above... a BIG THANKS to the organizers and it was a real pleasure to meet so many of you in person! I even got to learn some of your real names
Having a table next to Ray Samuels and his lovely wife was a lot of fun (they have a lot of of energy and I love their "dynamic" together ).
Thanks to everyone who stopped at our table to give a listen! I hope everyone has as much fun as we did. Next time, I hope there are even more Head-Fi'ers who can make it
Thanks again!
Vinnie

It was great to share a table with you. Your new iMod docks are amazing, as were all your modded headphones and that SLA powered D25... where do you come up with all these great ideas!
Glad you enjoyed the Isabella. It was only weeks before the show that I installed that headphone output and there was no looking back! Driving Boomana's Sony R-10s, it was strong competition for my Signature 30.2 + modded K1000 combo.
HighLife, it was nice to meet you! Make sure you demand ALO to make you that LOD for your Zen.
Special thanks to Enjoiflobees for helping out at our table, picking some great tracks to listen to, making countless comparisons... and almost "accidentally" leaving the show with Boomana's R-10's ).
Vinnie

I really should have never given those back. My life hasn't been the same, not only without the R10s, but without the isabella. It was my pleasure to help, and it was great to finally meeting ken.
Well, I really hope there is going to be more alo/rwa tables in the near future!

Enjoifbees,
I dont know if I am jonezin for the R10 or the Isabella more, I think the Isabella with the Headphone capability. I forgot to thank Boomama for loaning the R10s at our table Sunday. I also though the Audio-Technica W5000 sounding amazing with the Isabella. Typically the W5000s sound a bit thin but they were filled out nicely with the Isabella.
Hey Vinnie next time lets get a whole room and push my Martin Logans with the Sig 30.2.

I still say you need to come out with an ALO headphone endorsed by Snoop.
Then we can have the next Can Jam at Snoop's Vietnamese restaurant, Pho Shizzle: YTMND - Snoop Dogg's favorite Restaurant: Pho Shizzle!
