Thanks for the interest but I'm in the UK so an international sale might be a little tricky.
I'm listening to everything with a RSA Hornet (non 'm' version).
I've been doing some A/B testing (uncontrolled of course!) and I can't really hear that much difference. Probably because my ears aren't as tuned as others here. The only thing I've really noticed is that the volume from the iMod appears slightly higher than the 6G Ipod's dock. Could be my imagination though.

I think Vinnie from RWA mentioned in a post that the line out voltage was less on the 6g ipod than the imod which would account for the volume change.

The iPhone uses an interface that the dock component must send signal that it is connected making it an active instead of a passive dock connector port. I don't know if the touch has the same problem. Can anyone give some help?

Thanks, no one really answered the question that I asked. I have gathered from following this and other threads that this is the case. I have bought several cables from ALO. I guess that I'll get one of these new ones when they are available...thank you for your help

Check the iPhone thread in this forum. Basically I have a working iPhone dock cable made now. The pinning arrangement is a bit different from a normal LOD cable. Also the phone EMF is very destructive so you have to turn the phone in airport mode to keep it from making all that noise.
Cheers.

I am happy to report no, the touch's line out works just like a normal ipod
Sounds very nice as well, I was amazed by how thin it is.

I will be needing a new one Ken. Any suggestion as to what cable is a good combo with it yet?
Vinnie mentioned it not being as warm maybe a Jumbo Cryo with NO SILVER is the way to go o a 6G. Post your thoughts!

I have some very nice 6 wire LODs coming soon. These are going to use the reasonably sized Switchcraft mini plugs and are quite flexible for a multi wire cable. Very warm and probably one of the coolest looking cables I have made in a while. Hold on.

Ken, I have the Six Shooter which IMO is a heck of a product. Any chance you will produce something like it again.

Hey Ken, are these new 6 wire LODS gonna be a mix of silver/cooper? Or are you releasing a pure cooper one with 22g?

TTVJ still has the Jumbo Silver V2 that I have been drooling over forever. I really need an iMod Super Cotton right now though. I will have ended spending $265 more because I didn't wait long enough to catch the iMod, vCap dock, and iMod cryo deal.

What line out dock is good to use with a iPod Classic and Corda Move combo, Jumbo Cryo Dock or Super Cotton Dock.
I'm new to this kind of stuff.
Does it depend on what kind of music you listen too?
