What about the Touch? Does this have the same issue as the iPhone?

Thats great news as I just SOLD all my standard ALO docks! LOL!!

I will be needing a new one Ken. Any suggestion as to what cable is a good combo with it yet?

Vinnie mentioned it not being as warm maybe a Jumbo Cryo with NO SILVER is the way to go o a 6G. Post your thoughts!

If you go Jumbo Cryo get a four wire LOD. Killer sound.

This is a cable I made in limited numbers. If anyone wants on I can build them on order. They are difficult to make because I have to bore out the inside of the Canare mini plug to accommodate the girth of the 4 wires. The difficulty goes way up also because I have to be careful of shoring on the ipod connector and mini plug ends. Its like soldering tree stumps to a toothpick  not cheap - $220 but is arguably the best sounding LOD I make. Also keep in mind that Canare F-12 is has a large barrel. Its hands down the best sounding mini plug on the planet but large. I use it with my Hornet and similar size headphone amps no problem.

That would be a "Super Cotton Dock"

The Silver VS Copper will go no where. That is a personal preference that is going to change from person to person. I do have a 6G and find the combo 4 wire Jumbo to be excellent as I feel the 6G (at bit analytical) can benefit from the warmth of the 4 wire JC dock.
