Default Remote Control for Marantz CD57

Hi!

I got a Marantz CD57 cd player but it didn't come with a remote control. I'm watching ebay for some universal remotes but I don't know which one could work. What do I have to look for?
Maybe it would be possible to get an original Marantz remote control, too. Would any model work or does it have to be a specific one for the CD57?

Thanks a lot!
Jonas

Any Philips based remote from this period should work the basic functions, although Marantz would probably be amongst the cheapest and most common so that's not hugely helpful.
If you're in Europe try any remote from a European manufacturer from the mid late 1990s including, Arcam, Cambridge Audio, Naim, Revox, Bang And Olufsen, Philips, Grundig ...etc in other words anything with a Philips CDM transport.
Of the Marantz models from this series look out for all varients of the CD 57/63/67.
