Default Output voltage of Spitfire DAC?

Does anyone know the output voltage of the Spitfire DAC's line out (in V rms)? I asked David Lin from Firestoneaudio and he answered the following:

"It's not fixed; must depending on the signal(music) dynamic level.
Max.output could be 6V~7Vrms!"

???????????

It is good to know the output voltage to know what gain factor could be useful for the amp used in combination with the DAC.
