so I re-did all the solder connections and I've got sound now but the sound is really really really quiet

Did I get the DAC board connections right:

?

It looks like the + & - of L/R is put further back on the resistors but ground is where you have it., here is some pics I have.
Take a look at the connection to the zapfilter +- L/R and also the output wiring.

also leave the opamp for the power supply, the others Im sure you can take out.

Am I supposed to do anything with the bubbles on the zapfilter? I've got the 2.0A

I have 2,4 & 6 soldered, this maybe because I have CS dac.
