HeadRoom Ultra Desktop DAC
Has anyone heard this new DAC (it may not have been released yet but maybe there are some "preview" listenings)? Any comparisons with other DACs (e.g. Benchmark, Bel Canto, etc)? I currently have a DAC1-USB and am curious as to whether this new HR DAC would be a worthwhile upgrade.

Yet another nice looking DAC. The DAC market/demand has really exploded the last 2 years.

The headroom dac uses the ESS Sabre part. It does not do 24b/96 Khz over USB like your DAC1 USB.

i am very intereseted in a new DAC, and this seems to be very good (Sabre 32 Chip is a new one, and from a specifications point of view it is the Best)
Some impressions from CanJam '09 would be nice
