Actually, I hope to see an update from the hound soon. I got summer plans, and I was hoping to have these soon, but I need to know if I need to get temporary phones or not.
Nope, no news... hence the reason my molds are going to EarPeace today. I was refraining from going custom because of the expense and all the hype about the Westone 3, but since the 3 won't be available for an indefinite period of time and LiveWires come with a 30 day money back guarantee.... Not a hard call to make.

ER-6i -> ER-4P -> Auditioned Triple.fi #52/1000, didn't like the midrange recession -> ER-4P -> Shure SE310 -> Atrio M5 -> LiveWires (when my Atrios ended up as roadkill, very sad) -> Atrio M5 -> Auditioned q-Jays, thought they were a little too uneven and very finicky with recording quality -> Atrio M5 -> auditioned Denon AH-C700, didn't like the lack of isolation -> Atrio M5 -> auditioned Klipsch Custom-3 and wasn't impressed -> Atrio M5 -> Sleek SA6 (under testing, but initial impression brands them as a keeper)

i live in a country without seasons... so, when powerderhound said they hope to make it available in early summer, roughly when is that? I was under the impression that summer is may-july for the northern hemisphere?

Look what just popped up on http://www.westone.com/music: an official announcement with specs. Still no date, however, and not much info over what we already knew. Someone was asking for some material to drool over, so there you go!
