I guess I just don't see this as that big a deal. Sure, we've pre-ordered. Everybody wants their goods...You want your Westone 3's just like me, the dealers are twitching and itching to run those credit cards through, and Westone is waiting to meet the pent up demand its marketing folks have been building on to have an impact on its sales numbers. We all have the same goal.
Maybe it's packaging maybe it's not...but for me, if the phones sound good and don't fall apart when I get them, now or in 2 or 3 months, all is forgiven.

I am disappointed yes! But being here for awile eventually makes you slightly immune to such things. I'm sure nobody wants them if they are not ready so we all wait till the problems have been solved and Im sure they will be worth the wait!
I have learned to love the RSA signature sound as most know and the review he gave makes them an automatic purchase now or in the future.
Just my 2 cents!

x2. Really, there's nothing to forgive. I'm sure that if Westone could have sent them out when they originally planned, they would have. I'll be happy when they arrive. In the meantime, my wallet gets some unexpected R & R.
ER-6i -> ER-4P -> Auditioned Triple.fi #52/1000, didn't like the midrange recession -> ER-4P -> Shure SE310 -> Atrio M5 -> LiveWires (when my Atrios ended up as roadkill, very sad) -> Atrio M5 -> Auditioned q-Jays, thought they were a little too uneven and very finicky with recording quality -> Atrio M5 -> auditioned Denon AH-C700, didn't like the lack of isolation -> Atrio M5 -> auditioned Klipsch Custom-3 and wasn't impressed -> Atrio M5 -> Sleek SA6 (under testing, but initial impression brands them as a keeper)
