Default Jays launches headphones for active users!

Jays launches headphones for active users

Whether it’s watching films on your laptop, gaming on a Playstation, or relaxing to music in your home, headphones are being used in more and more different circumstances. Which is why the Swedish firm, Jays, which has previously focused on earphones, has now launched its first external headphones – c-Jays – designed to provide an optimum audio experience for music, films, or games – and to stand up to hard knocks.

“No disrespect to MP3 players, but more and more people are using their headphones with their laptops or for gaming, and often while they’re on the move. Which is why c-Jays have been developed to provide an optimum audio experience for everyone, whether they’re being used for music, films or to enhance a gaming experience,” says Jens Nylander, President of Jays.

The headphones have been developed using Jay’s design language, in which an attractive design is combined with exceptional comfort and audio quality. The headphones can easily be adapted for use by different users and in different spheres with the aid of a range of accompanying accessories, such as three different types of earcups pads. The headphones are made from a lightweight, flexible and tough plastic and can be folded up. Jays’ aim throughout was to make taking your c-Jays with you simple and uncomplicated.

“We are using headphones differently nowadays and carrying them with us in our bags wherever we go. Which is why more and more people want usable, robust and flexible accessories suitable for an active life – and why c-Jays are perfect for them. The durable and simultaneously lightweight headphones make c-Jays an excellent choice for users who exercise, travel regularly, or use their headphones under demanding conditions,” says Jens Nylander.

The extending arms are made from hard-wearing, glassfibre-reinforced nylon and are so flexible that they can be shoved into a bag. Two different types of lead make the headphones flexible and comfortable to wear.

The new headphones are equipped with Jay’s own Elastic Multi Layer (EML) membrane that offers a crystal-sharp, balanced audio experience with detailed highs, full-bodied mids, and extended base. c-Jays also come with a new type of cable, known as SGSCC (Single Crystal Copper) cable, that minimises the distortions that can easily occur when using ordinary copper-based audio cables.

c-Jays are supplied with a generous range of accessories that make them suitable for use with most devices, such as iPhones and Sony Playstations. c-Jays are supplied as standard with a 60 cm long cable and a 70 cm long extension cable with a slimline, gold-plated iPhone-compatible plug. A 6.3mm gold-plated adapter is also included for stationary hi-fi systems.

c-Jays will cost SEK 995, incl. VAT, from well-stocked retailers and are available in black or white.
