Finally "finished" my Cigar-Boxed Pimeta, I've still got a little case work to do, and the left and right channels are switched, but a little winamp plug-in will fix that until I get the nerve to solder again...
Thanks to all Head-Fiers, without whom I would be lost.
I've finished my first amp project.
Wanted to do something simple and nice. So the CMoy was the choice but i wanted the nice box to put on the table or on top of the cd-deck.
Also it has some nice components and it sounds really great! Go check the pics ...
My DynaHi is finally finished. It's been finished for a while but I was waiting to get the right knob. I want to thank all of the previous DynaHi builders ( I learned alot from everyone's 'adventures' with this project), Steinchen (for sourcing the power button), dgardner (for supplying the psu board after my first one blew up ), SFT (for building the amp modules) and of course Dr. Gilmore.
Nice job Juergen, glad you got the PSU working. Ever figure out what the cause was?
BW, what knob is that (looks like the ones on my Counterpoint preamp that need refinishing... if those were the right size I'd just replace them rather than have the originals redone).

USAFA: Audigy 4 (roommate's computer) ---> DIY GB-150D-based integrated amp (stereo configuration, remote-controlled, power-on delay for output, and heavily class-A biased (3.9mA/channel) LM4562NAs used in preamp section) ---> Yamaha NS-527 (modified with Vifa 6 1/2" woofers, Panasonic film caps in crossover, and heftier internal wiring)
Ghey-C'97 (my piece-o-crap issued laptop) ---> PPAv2 (class-A biased AD8620 (2.5mA/channel), 8600uF pre-regulator, LM338 high-current regulator, 40mA/channel output bias) ---> Grado SR-225 (yes, I bring my headphones home from the Academy during leave)
