Yep, it is a barrel of a plug. They work really well . I find getting the cheap no name stereo jacks off markertek work perfect for it. They are the right size, and only cost a buck.

8 cable braid with 18 AWG cable.
=)
will be my speaker cable. 1 Meter long each. haven't terminate them with banana plugs.
