Default CMOY chip advice (quickie)

Hi all

My virgin post - it's not all that painful after all...

Building my first cmoy on a pad per hole protoboard. I have a JRC4558D in a box of stuff left over from building guitar pedals. stat sheet says its a dual opamp for general purpose. Will it work in a cmoy? My expertise here is zero so any advice would be gratefully received.

Cheers

Matt

Looked at the datasheet too and can't find any reason why it shouldn't work. It's rated for +-4V to +-18V, so if you want to use 2 9V Blocks you should be pretty fine. Pinouts are the same as needed too. good luck!
