Default Can you get an upright case ?

Just wondering if anyones see a case that could stand upright a la PS2/Wii ?

Sort of contrary to the hi-fi convention of stacking gear, but I was thinking that for a phono pre-amp with my setup it might actually be nicer to have the pre-amp sitting vertically next to the turntable as I don't have desk space to put one laying flat and the stack is already too tall as it is.

Otherwise I may just go with a small case that will sit out of sight at the back.

Why not convert one of the SFF upright PC cases? You can find them in aluminum and a motherboard tray would be a nice place to mount a chassis or PCBs.

Come to think of it, heat might be an issue with a vertical case. You probably would not want to mount the power supply below the circuit. If you were able to put them side-by-side, that might work.
