To my surprise:
Hello Michael,
Actually in small quantities we do sell it.
Our wire has been available for some years for the DIY market.

There is nothing wrong in making DIY interconnects out of our wire.
In the past we have even sold simple kits.
Our complaint is some counterfeiters out there try to sell their works
as ours and that will get a reaction.
<http://www.jenalabs.com/pages/counterfeit-jena_products.html>
but to make and use our wire in your projects is not a problem.

What sort of projects do you have in mind?
It works well in electronics, speakers, interconnects.
Price depends of footage desired.

Cooper prices now are very high now and price increases or decreases is
based on copper pricing to some degree... and our wire is difficult to make.

Less than 10 foot its $6.00 a foot.
10 to 50 feet is $5.50 a foot.

We also make the 18 Ga available at the same price.

True OEMs like ALO Audio <http://www.aloaudio.com/> Buy our wire for
their official products but they meet certain quality standards and
advertise our products in the literature about what the connection is.
Our Wire is also used in Speaker products from Green Mountain audio but
I am not sure that they advertise this.

What sort of project are you trying and perhaps we can make some
suggestions on how best to use our wire.

Certaintly aren't giving it away. To answer the other half of the question, you can buy Vampire wire at takefiveaudio.com , just select the color option Transparent.

Is that really that expensive? Recablers charge something like $150 for a cable which only consists of 3.5 feet or so. Are terminations and labor worth all that much?
