Default am i missing something?

I am trying to place parts for and interconnect (3.5mm male - female) to use as a 75 ohm adapter, but when it comes to finding the female inline adapter it seems no onine retailer has them. i have the cable, the resistors, and the male ra plug all picked out, all i need is a 3.5mm female trs jack to finish off the order, but i can't find it anywhere. Anyone out there know what to look for/where to get it/what the hell it's official name is to type into a keyword search? If you could give me a markertek.com link or keyword that would be great. Thanks

I just used panel mount jacks with heat shrink insulation, for my female. Might not win any fashion awards, but one item to stock, to learn to solder, etc... worked great.

Look at www.btx.com and do a search for part number CA-C4408LK. I have a bunch of these and they are top notch - they perform really well and look great. They will hold onto your headphone plug like a leech in superglue!
