This is a group buy for a PCB to build a discrete diamond buffer that is a drop in replacement for the buffers in the DIY Millett Hybrid PCBs that were developed last year. KITS ARE NOT BEING OFFERED, ONLY THE BARE BOARDS. There is NO plan to offer kits or assembled buffers at any time; this is purely a DIY project. this site. The pricing is $3/ea + shipping + paypal fees. You may choose what method of shipping you prefer (1st Class Mail, Priority, Express, ect.). This is also open to anyone, anywhere. International folks will have to bear with me as I get quotes for int'l shipping.
Important notes about the project:
1. This project requires surface-mount soldering techniques for some of the resistors. This is not necessarily a project intended for beginners. Those with soldering experience on projects like the MINT (by Tangent) should have no issue with the assembly of these boards. With a little patience and care anyone can do it.
2. No testing of any kind has been done to see whether or not these buffers could be adapted to other designs that make use of the BUF634 buffer. If you’d like to try this go for it, but you’re on your own and please don’t ask me what happened if you nuke whatever circuit you’re trying to put the boards in.
3. The approximate cost of parts to populate one board (2 channels) is $25 for US residents ordering from DigiKey or Mouser. Canadian and International parts costs may vary.
This is a somewhat non-traditional group buy as the boards in question have already been ordered so there is a limit to the number of boards available. IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO POST IN THIS THREAD OR SEND A PM, if you would like to order PCBs please just send an email to

This information will be treated with the strictest of confidence and will not be given, sold or provided otherwise to anyone at anytime. Also, if you do not receive a confirmation email within 72hs please resend the email in addition to sending me a private message here. DO NOT SEND A PM UNLESS YOU’VE ALREADY TRIED TO EMAIL ME AND WAITED 3 DAYS.
The last thing that I ask is that you limit your order to a reasonable quantity as there are 50 boards for sale and no more will be ordered.
