Personally I like socket head screws (they would match my Hammonds) but It look slike I am swimming upstream on that so button head it is.

I believe Star1 indicated that the cases are designed for M3 screws, which is 4-40 equivilent, not 6-32.

Eric - $14 per hundred is relatively expensive. I think we can do better than that via mail order but I will keep you in mind if I can't beat that price. Were these screws black oxide???? That makes a difference in quality and price.

I will update the list over the next couple days. I was out of town and very tied up over the weekend and am just catching up on things.

Neil- if you can find a better price, that's fine. Let us know what you find and I'd be happy to help out if I can.

I'm not sure if those are black oxide or not- they have them in trays and I didn't ask or check the boxes.

Bolt Depot has M3 x 12mm (what Meier's parts list indicates) stainless socket button head screws for $6.86 per box of 100. I've dealt with these guys before and like them. BTW, I don't think that #4-40 is an exact equivalent to M3 (but I could be wrong). They don't have black oxide socket screws in M3 unfortunately.

I don't object to screws being included, but will probably source my own anyhow.
