We-ll, that's over 100! So this really is worth investigating.
So here is the situation. I haven't figured out what test bands to include. There are a few different choices to make for measuring frequency response, distortion and crosstalk/balance. And there are some tests for which no easily available record exists for testing, like static/dynamic stulus force drag. I also haven't asked for any price quotes from any mastering houses, etc.
The next steps for me are to:
Construct a draft track listing, including the tests/measurements that can be evaluated
Start talking to mastering companies on quotes
Please keep in mind that I have no experience with record mastering whatsoever, I'm not getting paid for it, yadda yadda yadda. So I won't provide any timeframes for when this will be done.
I have some experience with mastering. I could do a digital CD and you can have it transferred to vinyl. I'd completely donate my time to help the effort.
