Default Will my Total Bithead be powerful enough....

I recently purchased total bithead to fill my headophile needs, and now plan to purchase a closed headphone. From what i've seen, k271,DT770 and A900 seem to be pretty good and around my budget. But are there any other headphones that I should consider? I'm looking for good soundstage and not-so-recessed midrange (like A900). And if so, would my TBH be powerful enough to drive them?

TY in advance and AAAAHHHH my wallet : (

Yes definitely. It powers my 650.

Yep. Look at my tag line to see all the headphones that I own that the TBH will drive equally well. That new gain switch is a godsend (OK, a Tyell-send, but who's counting).

Yep the Total BitHead has tons of power -- like stated above, the high gain switch works particularly well when you need the boost.

x2. I drive 600 ohms with the Bithead sometimes. It's not exactly liquid at that impedance - it can't bring out the very best of my cans - but it sounds pretty good. There's lots of gain, plenty of bass and no noticeable distortion. 250 ohms should be no problem at all.

Now that the price has gone down, I think this it's a really good deal.
