Visely HEA-1: another nice portable headphone amp from China
I just got in for review another nice looking little portable amp from China, the HEA-1 from Visely. Their website purports to be www.visely.com, but that site did not work for me.
Anyway, here are some pics:
Only had a couple quick listens so far, but it sounded excellent. Actually got goose bumps listening to October Project's "Bury Me Lovely". Nice smooth, detailed sound.
Price seems to be $135 US. Sold primarily on EBay. Will be added to my amp review in the next few weeks.

Excellent Sky, I saw this cutey while ebay'ing portable amps earlier this week.
Looks solid, very curious how you think it stacks up against the mini^3/MiniBox E!
The Chinese are building some pretty nice home amps so why not portable also;-)

Amazing all these portable amps coming out now... just when I was getting an itch to get a minibox-E. Now maybe I will wait to see what the comments are comparing all these amps! Hurry up and let us know what your ratings are Skylab! BTW the link you provided worked for me but it was in Chinese. But they have an English link here http://www.visely.com/English/index.htm
Does not tell you much and I would like to know more details of what op amps and circuit design philosophy they use.

Man, the choices just keep coming and coming. If it was confusing before, it's not getting any better now. It's kinda like computers though, you can't keep waiting for the next great thing just sorta have to jump in somewhere. For me that was the headsix. Getting a Meier amp was great but supporting head-fi was what did the trick.

From first glance, it reminds me of the earlier iBasso models, especially the pre-D1 mini-DAC. Wonder if there's any connection?

Indeed, and just a bit longer. Still pretty compact though, good match for a 1st or 2nd gen Nano.

The faceplate of the iBasso D1 and this amp simply have to have been made by the same company. They are far too similar for it to be otherwise.

Compitition Is Coming Fast & Furious No?
[QUOTE=Skylab;3380084]Indeed, and just a bit longer. Still pretty compact though, good match for a 1st or 2nd gen Nano.
We do think alike I believe as I find myself putting thinner pods on thicker amps and vice versa at least as far as packing in a portable setup
Compitition Is Coming Fast & Furious No? I for one am glad we have the likes of you and Miguel to keep us informed of cream from fluff
