Perhaps I missed it in the thread, but have you had a chance to compare/review the Corda Headsix?

Does anyone (particularly Skylab) have a detailed comparison of the Arietta and HA-1 MKII?
I'm considering buying pataburd's HA-1 MKII particularly because they have better components. And it would be cool to own one of Alex's amps.

Sorry, I can't help much. I only owned a HA-1 MkI, and that was a very very long time ago.

That's fine. I'm getting Sladeophile's Little Dot III instead.

Have you tried that?

It isn't the MKIII, the much older wooden one.

Is the Meier sound sig..Fast, detailed, with good clarity? I'm looking at the Corda Cantate 2 for my DT48.. Isn't the out put OHM 120? One of my DT48 has a 120 OHM adaptar.. Would that improve the sound any..

Skylab, another set of thanks for that original review you did - most helpful - I'm getting into cans for the first time (so a newbie here) and am looking at trying out a Cantate with some different can options as a good mid-range (performance & cost) option - with the Opera (& Arietta) no longer available and it being effectively for my secondary set-up I'm picking the Cantate is now the best pick from the Meier range (since the Opera replacement is nearly triple the price)...

I've heard there's been a few people question if the Cantate is worth the money or that it has some performance questions (basically I've read about the first 2/3 of the 220 posts in this thread so far but haven't seen any mention of it - but apologies for duplication if mention of it is here and I've yet to get to it).

Being in NZ there's a few limitations to what brands are available to trial (i.e. who has a local distributor) so Meier is one of the good options.

P.S. The Cantate I'm looking at BTW is the original model as demo'd in the review not the new Cantate.2 model.
