Nice review Dzjudz, thanks for your comments about the sound signature of the Cantate, I found them to be useful, since a Senn 650 is probably one of the headphones I would also be using with it.
Great pictures too.

Enjoy it
Thanks. Yes, the HD650 is a great headphone, and the Cantate is a good match IMO. I also added a part about the build quality to the review.

Thanks for the impressions. Now we need a comparison between Aria and Cantate. Someone please!
I think a direct comparison is unlikely. I doubt any Aria owner would buy a Cantate, when it's not likely enough of a step up. I'm sure the Cantate sounds better than the Aria, and it's very likely slightly warmer sounding, as the Opera is, and the Cantate is basically an Aria which has been improved upon by the Opera developments.
I'd love to listen to a Cantate since I have an Aria and an Opera, but this seems unlikely. The good news is they are all great amps
When the amp is off and set to RCA input, you can still hear music when the source is playing. Soft and not changed by the volume knob, but it's very noticeably there. Weird...

I remember Jan explain that it's normal to someone saying same thing for Move or Aria here
That say i just do the test and i have no sound at all...maybe because i'am in Low Gain........
