As I type this I'm listening to Astronomy for Dogs by The Aliens on the RP-21s with Beyer Vinyl Pads (with the Equation foam removed and the Beyer foam in its place), through an mSeed Spirit Amp and I'm having one of those audio bliss moments.
Supermini is definitely the most portable amp, IMO.
Good form-factor/size, all features (just found out it has built-in impedance adapter, so I don't have to buy one of those now!), great sound quality, 100hr battery life, ability to change opamps to synergize with your headphones and/or source. . . Plus he's given free upgrades for life so far, but nobody knows how much longer that can last because...
Ya just have to wait a long time for it... months, in fact.
But these are the perfect opportunities to upgrade to a Xin amp (when all you're missing is an amp) seeing as how you already have a source & cans that are already fairly easy to drive (like RP-21).
Since I know people have different opinions, but I don't think the RP-21 is a can really deserving a portable amp of the smallest form-factor. . . perhaps an amp from MisterX could work for you, not sure what's replaced his XP amp, tho. A lil' help? MisterX?
Well you are off to a good start with the 21s- they are amazing HPs. If you are in a budget the iBasso is a good amp which I can actually speak of using with the 21s. If you can spend more- RSA Toma. I have both and both work well with that HP.
