If you can, try to avoid submerging it in water. Thats about it. Enjoy it.

use rechargeable batteries (1.2v) and not regular (1.5v) batteries

you might hear a little bit of noise from the volume control but this goes away after a few minutes of warm up. i suggest you use a decent grade interconnect. um... oh, yeah - enjoy it!!! it's a terrific little amp that sounds much better than $60!

A quality mini-to-mini would be cool. Just take into account that any differences an interconnect will make in a portable setup will be quite small. Also, take the mass praise surrounding some mini-to-mini cables with a grain of salt. Some are quite overpriced for what they're worth while others are pretty decent for what they cost.

Cheers and enjoy!

Never leave it plugged into a mains supply indefinitely - the charger circuit has no overcharge protection - it is a slow charger (the Wallwart is 200ma and most batteries charge at 0.7C) so you have only a slow build up but left for long periods it will overcharge the batteries which will lessen their life.

Never believe people who say it cant power high Z headphones - I use mine with Senn 580s and Beyer 990s.

Never put a Ferret down your trousers.

wise advice from Veniogenesis. i certainly don't advocate going out and spending $100 on interconnects but one of the advantages of getting a decent grade interconnect like the ones you see on eBay or ones made by various head-fi'ers here is that you can get a nice short length. i've got my PA2V2 mated with my Zen Sleek and bought a $25 interconnect that was only 4" long. it's a perfect length for my setup and i don't have to deal with winding up unneeded cable.

then again i'm anal that way!

Don't unplug headphones from amp when music is playing
Don't plug in anything mono in
If the amp is 1/8'' terminated and your headphones are 1/4'' terminated be sure you use an adapter that isn't a strain on the headphone out
