Hey victor a hipbag with a strap would be nice if you know what I mean, with a little hole for the headphones... I take my portable player to school, but I do not use it while walking the streets I have to travel with the bus part of the way though so a hipbag would be nice for storing the imod while not using it. It would also be nice for exercising because you could wear it on your hip andstill listen to it. It would be nice if it also containe da bit of space to put headphones in.
Greetings, Anouk,
Cool case Victor!, yes a fantastic amp, after using this thing for a while I really don't think I could be satisfied with anything else. The 3d imaging is really awesome on this amp, and it handles complex passages with ease. I however really screwed my paint up on the bottom panel of my amp and was wondering if I could get another bottom plate, what do you say Hans? I know it doesn't effect the sound, but I'm a vain control freak that likes his stuff to look pristine ( you know, low self esteem as a child ect. ect. )
Here is where the problem started:
And here it is after I tried to touch it up
Just hideous:
On a side note, has anyone tried the iqube with sleek audio or q- jays? I am looking for just a bit more treble energy then the shure e530, but I don't want to loose the good mids and sound-stage of the 530's. Triple fi are out of the question because of the fit. Oh, and Victor what is the other little green box for?

I have the same paint problem as you Ihatepopupads and so do many. Actually, the best solution is to get another from hans but then after some use the paint will come off again. Maybe, just maybe, radiator or heat sink black heat and scratch resistant paint will be the answer. I ride a bike and I find that the exhaust pipe spray paint which I can get in a can produces the same colour and more durable. The more you heat it the stronger the paint is supposed to be.
I was also going to say that most, like you, who do not have a full protection pouch will run into cosmetic problems earlier. By the time people realise the importance of the pouch, the amp and MP3 is already greatly reduced in cosmetic value affecting resale value.

Cool pouches... might need one of those when I upgrade to the iqube.
By the way, are the interconnects from Ultimate Link? Looks like the SM-i and SM model. I'm using the older version, Silver Reference-i... excellent cables.
Well.... those are definitely the SM-i cables. I used to own the Silver ref, but I'm real glad that I had the chance to audition the SM-i. For those who are skeptical about cables, ( i used to be one of them ), you should give this cable a try.
By the way, I'm also using the Iqube & SM-i, that case really look attractive. Any idea where I can get that?

I DIY'ed the pouch myself. Costs me 40 hours of my life doing it. I did the sewing too. Suffered neck aches and finger soreness as well. Had quite a few people asking me about it as well.
