Headphone amplifier with rca line pass through
I need a headphone amp with a line pass through so that I can move the signal on from my Asus Essence STX sound card to my active speakers via a dedicated headphone amp. I am currently using a Graham Slee Novo which has this feature and I just wondered what upgrade options there would be. £400-£500. Headphones I have are Grado RS1i, Senn HD650, Audio Technica ATH-AD900 and AKG K702.
Thanks.

Both the Headamp Gilmore Lite and GS-1 have this.

davidc2 you could get the PSU1 power supply to replace the switching psu.
The RCA splitters work fine if attached to the source.

Thanks for these suggestions. I'll look into them.
mrarroyo/Miguel - why would I want to get the psu1 power supply? Is this something for my Novo? It has a built-in power supply.
Thanks.

The Novo uses a switching psu, the regulated PSU1 tightens the bass, widens the soundstage, and improves the clarity. The changes are not night and day but they are there.

I don't see the PSU1-24 advertised as working with the Novo on the GSP website. It is advertised to work with the Solo but no mention is made of the Novo. I see you have it with a Solo. Will it really be compatible with and benefit my Novo?

...Oh yes, I see it now. But there is no explanation. Just "upgrade further with...". Since it costs two thirds of the Novo itself it would be nice to see an explanation of why it will benefit the Novo.
