Thanks tyrion. Don't hesitate to send the amp to Justin. He knows what he's doing for sure. Good luck with your KGSS. In the meantime enjoy your HEV70. It's not bad at all after 2-3 hours playing music prior the listening session.

No way the KGSS will be able to drive such an inefficient yet great and cheesy headphones, Borat. Only the mighty Disney Donal Duck 70th Anniversary Radio is up to such a task.

So I see you are familiar with those BlackGates SaltPeanuts. This will save you some concerns indeed (I thought something was not quite right at the beginning). Nice pictures indeed. It's good to see mine having a brother Now enjoy your baby. You have a source up to the task. Mine is a much modest MiniDAC (I think you had one, actually). I'll have to work on that one day. I'm still exploring transductors first.

Gpalmer, you got it all wrong. As we have the amps with the right connector, it's just fair that your kind provide us with the right headphones.

Yep, I had a Mini-DAC as well. I really liked that DAC and would have kept it had my wallet allowed for that. Instead, it and another source left my place to fund the purchase of the DV-50.

I like your idea better, Nomad.

Back to listening.

Justin's interior work is even better than his fantastic exterior work. Bravo!

I can't agree more. I couldn't resist the temptation so I took the top panel off and peeked inside. The interior work is simply stunning and looks amazing.

EDIT - Hmm, I should have taken pics of the internals. Oh well.
