First amp ... suggestion?
I'm gonna get myself a portable amp. Will mainly be powering my er6i from iPod (Video/ 1st gen Nano). The idea is if it can save the ety's bass, then I'll be happy; but if not, I'll sell the 'phones and keep the amp so I'll have something when getting a full-size pair of cans.
I'm located in mainland China, so many good ones are out of reach. These are currently on my list:
Penguin Caffeine (I like the workmanship, and all its features, but the shipping could take long)
Minibox-E (I've read some good things about it, and it can be shipped from a seller in China)
Minibox-D (Price and slim profile is attractive, but it doesn't have all those features. Can it compensate the ety's lack of bass?)
And I won't consider beyond this price range.
