Anyone have any experience with the Antique Sound Labs solid-state headphone amplifier? It has a separate,large power transformer & I believe it is now discontinued.

I don't know the amp you are talking about BUT :
I own a passive preamp ASL and a UHC signature (headphone listening device) also by ASL and I am very very pleased with both.
Just to say that they make good products as far as I am concerned.
