I think you can do better for $700. For a little more you can get a used Dynahi or basic beta22, which is infinitely better than those of opamp designs.

If you must have balanced operation, then SXT-2 is probably the least expensive solution, otherwise you can do better sound-wise.
Oh the price is different than earlier stated in 05. Hmmm, I would personally hold off since it would be next to impossible to get support if anything went wrong. It still looks nice. That thing is a beast .

Do you really think, if something was going to be wrong, it couldn't be fixed near your place?!

Unless you burn the whole amp, repairs wouldn't be that mayor. Could be just as much, or less(depends on how you look at it) as shipping the amps back to china.

I agree and think we need to adjust to global thinking. I have shipped many items back and forth from China with no incident. I would prefer to have the designer repair something like the SXT unless it was something simple that I could repair without a schematic.

Last week I had a tube preamp leave China on Thursday, it was on my doorstep on Tuesday via EMS. I just ordered the Denon D5000's. It will take 7 days to get to me shipped in the US.

Here are some info, maybe you want to know.

2X6.35mm headphone out.
Left side:L out+, R out +, Ground. Right side:L out-, Rout-, Ground.
Two 6.35mm headphone out become 4-pin balanced out via the conversion cable, wire definien are: 1--L out+;2--L out-;3---R out+;4--R out-.
================================================== =
Original in Chinese.
================================================== =
The conversion cable is easy to made, just 2x 6.3mm plugs 1x 4-pin female XLR plug and some wires.

I've mod. my HD650's cable w/ 4pin XLR plugs for SXT2. And I'll make conversion cable, too.

SXT-2 has built-in "single-end to balanced" conversion, you can plug a single end source into SXT-2.

SXT2 is a real thing, I've try Beta22 (non balanced)before.

And mine Beta22 balanced will still go on.

A 10A Plitron transformer is ready.
