Honestly, that kind of battery life would drive me nuts.
With my VX Nano I easily get over 2 months of battery life on two rechargeable AAA batteries. I have four of them which cost me like 10.00, and just swap them as needed.
You make it sound like a horrible ordeal to change the batteries, it's not. It comes with 2 battery packs, push a button it pops out... pop the charged one in... put the dead one in the charger, it takes 10 seconds max. No fiddling in drawers for batteries, no trying to remember where you left the spare batteries...

Its not a horrible ordeal, I'd just rather not deal with changinr/charging on a weekly basis.

I am still using a Logitech MX500 now and I love it. I want to try try another mouse, not because I need a new one, just for something new. Honestly I read about the G7, I want it's "G5's performance" but it has such horrible review from newegg.
I want to give wireless a last chance. I'm looking at either the MX620 or LX8, but some reviews said the MX6xx are cheaply made and it looks like it with the larger gap between the parts of the mouse. I really want a mouse that shape and feel like the Logitech MX500/G5 but is wireless, durable and good battery life. I might just settle for the G5 in the end.
Changing batteries is a pain in the butt. Having a battery in a mouse makes it heavy as well. Plain ol G5 with a cord, feels great and works great. With less weight you can speed up the pointer and maneuver the mouse very easily, smaller movements. I have wireless mice as well, I was in a cheap mood one day and bought the G5 and I love it. Just a suggestion, no need to post the merits of wireless.

My G7 is the lightest wireless mouse I've ever used. It has a very small and light battery pack, not 4 clunky AA or AAA batteries. And changing the batteries is not a big deal, not like replacing normal AA or AAA batteries. Push a button, out pops the pack, swap it and keep going. It's also very well balanced, and there is NO lag at all. I game quite a bit and I've never had any mouse lag like with some of the MS mice.
If your looking for the wireless version of the G5, the G7 is the exact same shape, the only difference is there is only one thumb button on the G7 instead of the two on the G5.

Why do you think you have to change the battery every day? I know how the battery changes, kinda like the weight tray in the G5.
Have both the nano and Revolution and have to a gree that both are simply amazing mice. I love the programable buttons and don't think I could now ever use another mouse for surfing the net.
