Default using winamp w/probs bypassing windows kmixer

been here ASIO4All Explanation i either get no sound or it sounds like a scratched cd repeating itself ove and over very fast.

I have tried downloading several versions of asio cant get anything working. not sure what i am doing wrong is there a updated version of how to set up winamp to by pass the k mixer. my foobar works perfect and was easy to set up
i want to be able to control my media player from my keyboard(razer tarrantula) so im switching over to winamp. I read somewhere i could download plugins and make winamp sound identical to foobar thats my goal so i can control my music from my keyboard. I am on windows 64 corp

Creative ASIO should work fine.

For Winamp, you need ASIO output plug-in been installed .. there's also KS output plug-ins available for Winamp (see my sig).

BTW, the 1.8.x version for Asio4All is needed on some cases (it can be found behind History link @ Asio4All pages.

Hey thanks man,

I used the kernel streaming no issues but how can i check to make sure its using the streamer? do i just highlight it? in the output box and that's it ? I've clicked configure and everything was good to go but i don't see anything in the software change.

how come in my winamp output when i go to configure then open source it says output format is 16 bit freq 44100htz? I have upgraded to an x-fi prelude and want to try 24 bit or 32 and isnt 44100htz same as kmixer? does bit matched have anything to do with it?

Yes, just highlight it and it will be used for your output. It should say "Kernel Streaming Output v3.63 [out_ks363.dll]".
