I had both the HagUSB and Trends at the same time and A/B'ed them. The Trends sounded about on par with the HagUSB but only when powered from the USB. When I hooked up the battery pack the Trends pulled ahead, everything had a bit more body and impact and it was cleaner sounding.

Hi Ricey
I think I just asked you this question in another thread. You're talking about using it as a USB to coax converter, right?
I have never personally used it, but my roommate has it hooked up to his media PC going to a Benchmark Dac-1 and it sounds great. Not to mention it's $200 cheaper than buying the Benchmark with USB support.
Bing! Love mine!
One thing to be aware of that would've been nice to know before, but not really a huge deal for me (could be for some): limited to 16/48 on this chip... no matter what your DAC can do. So I'd imagine it'd be the same problem for the Hag, too.
When all is said and done, though, my test is asking myself, "Would I buy it again?" And my self responds, "Yes. Yes, I would."
