No there is not. Unless you use the digital output (which yes, does not help you with a standard headphone amp)
I set the master volume to 80% and run a RA Hornet with my HD-580 headphones.
The Prelude produces the best sound quality I've heard from a PC sound card. I have had some skip and click issues. The major problem was a Linksys Wireless N adapter I had installed, once I uninstalled the card it worked almost flawlessly minus a few hiccups here and there which I attribute to my UPS backup and/or power in my house.
I am running Windows Vista Ultimate x64 with Winamp.
When I am not using my headphones I run it through a Rotel preamp and and out to my B&W N805 speakers... Again I set the volume to around 80%.
Great card if you have no compatibility problems.
