synching shuffle in foobar?

Hey guys! Is there a way I can put some songs on my shuffle using foobar? I am completely sick of crappy iTunes. It corrupted my music collection and somehow managed to delete a couple of songs after I played them. Very weird and annoying.

EDIT: Or is there a simple program that doesnt suck that I can manage my ipods with?
Ideally, I would like something so I could just drag and drop songs on the ipod. Why does apple have to "think different" when it comes to basic crap like dragging and dropping music?

I just downloaded the ml_pod plugin for winamp and am now using that. Much better!
